Tim Dooley QFA, FLIA
MANAGING DIRECTOR
Originally from Kildare Town, Tim is the son of Ned Dooley who originally set up Dooley Insurance Group over 50 years ago. Tim is highly qualified in the area of Life and Pensions having worked in the area since 1988. His experience includes sales and senior management positions in very large financial institutions such as Irish Life Assurance, Ark Life (at the time part of the AIB group) and Ulster Bank
Since taking control of D&E Insurances in May 2002, under Tim’s guidance the group has purchased 4 other brokerages to become one of Ireland’s largest and most progressive, professional insurance brokerages.
Brian Byrne BComm, APA, CIP
DIRECTOR
Brian is an experienced Commercial Lines Manager with over 20 years experience in the insurance industry. He joined the Dooley Insurance Group in 2008 and is responsible for the management of our Commercial Insurance Division. Brian previously held posts with Lewis Hohn Williams, Maiden & Co and Royal Bank of Scotland (Insurance) having previously graduated with an honours degree in Commerce from NUIG.
Aisling O’Connor, CIP APA QFA
DIRECTOR
Aisling now heads up of Health Insurance Section. She joined Dooley Insurance Group in September 2009. Previous employers include LWA & Associates and Hallmark Consumer Services where Aisling held a number of management and business development positions. Aisling has also been heavily involved in the local community having held the position of Secretary of Naas AFC. As part of her on going professional development Aisling is currently taking her QFA examinations. Aisling also deals with Life assurance, Serious Illness, Income Protection and Mortgage Protection.
David Renwick QFA, RPA SIA PTP FPRA
SENIOR FINANCIAL CONSULTANT
David has been working in the insurance and financial services industry since 2000. He has worked for several insurers and brokers in that time and was working with Campion Insurances for some time before joining Dooley. He is one of our senior financial consultants. His experience and knowledge of pensions, savings, investment and life products provides our clients with the assurance their financial future is in good hands.
Emma Duffy CIP, QFA
PERSONAL LINES EXECUTIVE
Joining the firm in 2022 having held management positions with Cornmarket, Emma has become a valuable member of the team at Dooley Insurance Group with her knowledge of the Insurance market and ability to obtain solutions for our clients apparent to all of our clients who have the good fortune to deal with her.
Conor Swan, QFA, RPA, SIA – Bsc (Mgmt)
DIRECTOR
Conor has been working in the insurance and mortgage industry since 1993. He has worked for several of the large banks before joining brokerage. He is one of our senior financial advisors within the Dooley Insurance Group. His in-depth knowledge of Pensions investment and Life products provide clients with the assurance their financial future is in good hands.
Shirley Fitzgerald CIP, QFA
COMMERCIAL LINES EXECUTIVE
Joining the firm in 2020, Shirley is an insurance professional with over 20 years of experience in the industry. Shirley is an intrinsic part of our Commercial Insurance Department having previously managed a large book of business in Campion Insurance and Mike Murphy Insurances.
Caitriona Mulligan Farrell
COMMERCIAL LINES EXECUTIVE
Responsible for all Commercial Clients in our Edenderry Offices, Caitriona is a Commercial Lines Executive with over 15 years experience and well known within the business community of Edenderry and the greater Offaly region. A consummate professional, Caitriona is a valuable member of the team within Dooley Insurance Group.
Elaine Glennon CIP
PERSONAL LINES EXECUTIVE
Joining the firm in 2023 having held a similar position with FBD in the past, Elaine brings a lot of knowledge and experience to the team. A native of Edenderry and therefore principally based in our Edenderry branch, Elaine’s knowledge of the insurance market is apparent in all of her dealings with our clients.
